Allowing the Journey | Jamie Brown

A really special conversation today with Jamie from our team at The Modern Medium, alongside my dear friend Carley. 

Jamie and I go way back — what started as coworkers nearly two decades ago turned into an on-and-off friendship that wove in and out of our lives over the years. And like so many things I’ve come to trust… our paths found their way back to each other at exactly the right time. After I launched The Modern Medium, everything aligned in a way that felt less like coincidence and more like timing we couldn’t have planned if we tried.

In this conversation, we talk about that journey — how our lives intertwined, separated, and reconnected — and how, spiritually speaking, we often meet the right people when we need them most.

We also dive into Jamie’s evolution, which has been nothing short of incredible to witness. From stepping into her gifts as a psychic medium, to expanding into shamanic reiki, becoming a certified sound bath practitioner, and exploring drumming and journeying — her growth has been deeply rooted, intentional, and led with so much heart. Watching her step fully into her path has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey for me.
